Job Purpose
To proactively support and coordinate the fleet (LCV, car and HGV) service Operations including strategic supplier account management by working closely with the wider Fleet team to achieve excellence in safety, quality, sustainability and efficiency.
Responsibilities

Support all operational elements/teams across the Fleet Operations portfolio e.g. workshops, service desks, short term hire, supply chain
*
Account management of strategic car supplier relationship (£25m spend)
*
Management of company car policy adherence
*
Salary sacrifice scheme support and management
*
First point of contact for Operational escalation issues regarding our supply chain partner for cars/LCVs
*
Order bank management
*
Contractual KPI management
*
Excess mileage management
*
Commercial specification management
*
Strategic project leadership and delivery e.g. implementation plan, annual strategy day
*
Manage the end to end disposals process for HGVs
*
Support in the formulation of 3 year budget plans
*
Operations support lead for contract mobilisation/demobilisation
*
Ad hoc Improvement projects
*
Systems lead for Operations team
*
Front facing lead for external business – operational delivery
*
Troubleshooting tasks as and when required
*
Develop a strong working relationship with local customers to minimise service disruption and maximise customer satisfaction - adopting clear and consistent communication to manage expectations.
*
Be aware of industry best practice and innovation, and ensure that a culture of innovation and continuous improvement is engrained in the wider Operations team
*
Identifying good practice and areas for improvement and ensure these are captured in the Operations team and BMS.
*
Identify external opportunities and pursue to conclusion
*
Development of marketing literature to support business development
*
Develop a strong working relationship with external local customers to minimise service disruption and maximise customer satisfaction - adopting clear and consistent communication to manage expectations.
