Finance Project Manager

Pure have partnered with a highly regarded higher education organisation based in the heart of Cambridge to support in their recruitment of a Finance Project Manager on a 2-year contract.
As the Project Manager you will provide expertise for the different workstreams within the Finance Systems Replacement Project within the Finance Division.
You will be part of selecting and managing consultants/implementation partners and effectively manage relationships within the project governance. Key areas you will focus on will be projects, Order to Cash and Tax, P2P and inventory, Business Information and EPM, and technical areas such as integration and data migration.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining governance arrangements for the delivery of the project. Identify project risks, planning and implementing.
Schedule programme activities and events. Develop, implement, and update resource allocation plans, taking account of availabilities and scheduling.
Review budgets for the project and forecasting costs.
Establish and implement protocols to change the scope for the project and update configuration documents as required. 
As the ideal candidate you will have a Finance background and strong demonstrable experience of managing the delivery of infrastructure, application development and or Software-as-a-Service projects.
Hybrid working is on offer, with two days on-site and a salary pitched at £40-£54K
