Tutor

Core Subjects Tutor | Cambridge | Up to £30 per hour | Flexible Working Hours

The Tuition Services Team at Randstad are looking for a committed and experienced Tutor with a real passion to support vulnerable, at risk and disengaged learners! We offer our Tutors highly rewarding assignments, whilst providing flexibility and professional support to ensure your success. Earning up to £30 per hour for face to face support, you will be offered the opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with children and young people with a variety of learning needs through tutoring in a creative, flexible and engaging manner.

For this tutoring role, you will support pupils by tailoring the tuition sessions to suit their individual needs and current working level. Above all you will be an engaging and informative Tutor by helping pupils access the best education. As an experienced Tutor in Cambridge, you will be free to choose from an extensive list of available bookings both face to face or online with flexible hours, enabling you to take control of your working schedule.

You will be assisted by our dedicated support team through every step of your registration process and will also be provided with high quality training to enable you to deliver your tuition sessions.

The ideal requirements:

A creative and versatile teaching style
Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS / PGCE), Subject Specialism or extensive tuition experience supporting with English, Maths and/or Science
Experience, Knowledge and Understanding of working with children/young people with additional learning needs (SEN/SEMH)
Experience, Knowledge and Understanding of working with disengaged young people or looked after children
Experience, Knowledge and Understanding of Safeguarding practices
An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to acquire oneResponsibilities will include:

Setting, marking and giving feedback on work
Safeguarding children
Planning sessions to ensure the curriculum is covered sufficiently
