Location: Kingston Upon Hull
Salary: MPS/UPS: £28,000 - £43,685 per annum
Start Date: January 2024 or sooner
 
GSL Education Hull is seeking a qualified and highly motivated Maths Teacher to work within a Secondary School in Hull. This is a full-time, permanent position, commencing from January 2024, or sooner.

Maths Teacher Responsibilities:

Develop personalised learning plans for each student based on their individual needs and curriculum requirements.
Provide Maths lessons to all levels.
Encouraging active student participation, fostering critical thinking, and promoting problem-solving skills.
Teach Numeracy and Maths concepts and topics to students in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring they grasp the material and can apply it.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
Follow the ethos and policies of the school, promoting positive behaviour throughout the school.
Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources that enhance the learning experience. 
Maths Teacher Requirements:

Holds a Maths or STEM related Degree.
Be knowledgeable and experienced in teaching young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Be able to provide 2 relevant references within the last 2 years.
Good understanding of children and young people's development and learning processes.
Ability to effectively communicate with all children, young people, families, and caregivers.
You must have an enhanced Child Only DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education. DBS sponsorship is available for this position.
