Salary Scale: £110 to £230 per day

GSL Education are seeking an experienced tutor to undertake a tutoring position in a reputable Secondary School in Sheffield, starting in January 2024.

Maths Tutor Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify the specific learning needs of each student.
Develop personalised learning plans for each student based on their individual needs and the curriculum requirements, alongside other staff members such as the Department Head and SENCO.
Provide 1:1 and small group tutoring sessions to specifically identified students, under the National Tutoring Programme (NTP) framework.
Teach Numeracy and Maths concepts and topics to students in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring they grasp the material and can apply it.
Regularly assess and track the progress of students to ensure they are making improvements and adjust the teaching approach as necessary.
Be aware of safeguarding protocols and ensure the safety and well-being of students during tutoring sessions.
Maths Tutor Requirements:

Holds a Maths or STEM related Degree.
Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high.
Have experience raising the attainment of students which can be referenced.
Have an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the update service (or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education).
