Teaching Assistant
Rikama Education are working with a special school just outside of Ashford, who are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to start in Term 3 (January) The position will be based within the secondary site working across KS3-4.This is a therapeutic school specialising in supporting the educational and emotional needs of students who have experienced trauma, and/or have a diagnosis of Autism and/or other neurodevelopmental and psychological problems aged 5 - 16.
It is essential that you are self-motivated, proactive and have a passion for supporting those with additional needs. The role is demanding and challenging but very rewarding.
There is onsite parking and due to the school's location, you will need to drive.
You will be required to work Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 3:30. Term time only.
This a long-term position and for the right candidate a temp to perm contract maybe offered.
