Fitters Mate - Windows & Doors - 12-Month Fixed Term Contract - Gloucestershire

Our window and door installation team needs an organised, safety-focused member of the team to hep upgrade homes for our customers. We have a great opportunity for a Windows and Doors fitters mate to join Bromford, one of the UK’s established and leading housing associations.In this physically demanding role, you will assist with the installation and repair of windows and doors.
Working as part of a team your duties will include:
Preparing openings and lifting heavy materials
Installation assistance – fittings, adjustments, finishes
Basic repairs – realigning, replacing glass, fixing jams
Ensuring site tidiness and cleaning up debris
Adhering to all health and safety standardsThe ideal candidate will have:
Previous labouring experience
The ability to lift heavy objects
The ability to work at hight off towers, scaffolds and platforms
Strong attention to detail
Responsible work ethic and punctuality
Full, UK driving licence.Due to the nature of the role a DBS check will be completed for the successful candidate.
