Project Procurement Officer (Dynamics 365)
The role: Project Procurement Officer (Dynamics 365)Location: South Manchester with Hybrid Working
Contract for expected 6 months.
Rate: £(Apply online only) per day
This is a day rate, contract role for a project procurement officer to join a national utilities business with interests across power, rail, telecoms and water.
Joining the procurement department, you'll work alongside the project team that is responsible for the implementation of the new ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365. They are in the testing stage at the moment and the expected go live for the system is around March 2024 but the plan is to bring someone who is a strong user of the system, that can offer guidance from a user perspective when it comes to procurement based processes and procedures.
Based from the South Manchester HQ, this will be a hybrid working role and we'd expect you to be in the office maybe 2-3 days per week.
As the project procurement officer, you'll guide on compliance and the development of the procurement policies, procedures and practices. In essence, you will be the procurement representative for the integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
The definitely has a strong procurement flavour and we are not looking for a project manager, more a strong procurement bias user of MS Dynamics 365 who has ideally been through a number of ERP implementation projects previously so can guide and advise on the pitfalls, and on the flip side, raise what procurement professionals would like to see moving forward to get best value from the pending system.
You'll need a strong reporting / analysis background (Power BI would be an advantage) along with the specific Dynamics 365 integration / deployment knowledge
