6 months initial contract
Hybrid working - 2 days in Hertfordshire and 3 days remote working
Up to £600 pd inside IR35 via umbrella
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Global Procurement Team as an IT Procurement Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing our portfolio of supplier contracts, working closely with our business stakeholders to strategically align our contracts to future initiatives. You will be at the forefront of providing innovative retail technology products and services to our customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end procurement process across Opex and Capex projects
Define go-to-market strategies for new contracts, identifying the best commercial model and supporting RFP/RFQ activities
Strong awareness of the IT/Technology supply market with procurement knowledge across Functional/Digital Applications
Manage software sourcing and category management
Build strong working relationships with partners to support sub-category plans aligned to procurement strategies
Develop and deliver sub-category plans aligned to Category Plans by being innovative and collaborative with cross-functional partners
Minimise revenue and capital costs through improved use of tools, processes, and best practises
Track and report on savings targets consistently
Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and safety procurement policies
Collaborate with peers and senior leadership to build solid working relationships across different teamsRequirements:
CIPS qualified at level 4 (diploma) preferred but not compulsory
Minimum of 5 years of strong procurement experience
Previous experience managing software contracts
Strong negotiation skills and experience running sourcing events
Supplier relationship and performance management experience
Responsive in a fast-changing environment with resilience and willingness to challenge
Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills
Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
Category planning skills and capability to build and execute strategies
Ability to lead complex large-scale projects, driving innovation and best practises through others
Excellent attention to detail and data-driven decision-making capability
Proficiency in MS Office
Strong commercial acumen
Contract management experience
