Marketing Manager (Global Technology Leader)

Job Title: Marketing Manager

Pay: £50,000 - £55,000 salary equivalent per annum

Duration: 6-month initial contract (highly likely to be extended to 18 months)

Location: Hybrid - 1 day per week in Reading (flexible)

Ideal start date: Jan 2024

As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns that drive awareness, demand, and adoption of their hardware products in the UK commercial market. You will work closely with the product team, sales and external agencies to create and deliver impactful marketing deliverables that showcase the value proposition and differentiation of their hardware devices.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement integrated marketing plans for hardware products to drive awareness with internal teams and commercial customers to build demand
Manage and execute marketing activities across multiple channels, such as digital, social, email and events
Deliver compelling communications to support internal sales enablement and customer ready assets
Collaborate with the hardware business group to understand the product roadmap, features, benefits, and competitive landscape, and translate them into compelling marketing content and assets.
Work with the UK sales team to support sales enablement, lead generation, pipeline acceleration, and customer retention.
Work with the UK PR team to amplify and generate positive media coverage and influencer engagement.
Manage and oversee external agencies to ensure high-quality deliverables, timely execution, and effective measurement of marketing campaigns.
Monitor and analyze the performance and impact of marketing campaigns and provide insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement.

Top 3 Skills Required:

Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
Experience and ability to manage marketing deliverables, marketing campaigns, and execution.
Creative, analytical, and strategic thinker

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience in marketing preferably technology
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns for new and existing products, across multiple channels and audiences.
Strong understanding of the UK market, consumer behaviour, and media landscape.
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
Creative, analytical, and strategic thinker, with a customer-centric and data-driven mindset.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
