Randstad is currently seeking a dedicated and flexible High School Cover Supervisor to join our team in supporting schools located in Blackburn. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of regular teaching staff.
Schools will be offering roles that are both short term and long term. You will be allocated to a role based on your location, qualifications, experience and preference.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Classroom Management:
Supervise and manage classes during teacher absence.
Ensure a positive and respectful learning environment for students.
2. Lesson Delivery:
Deliver pre-prepared lessons and materials provided by the regular teaching staff.
Provide support to students as they engage with the assigned tasks.
3. Behaviour Management:
Manage student behaviour and address any issues that may arise during lessons.
Report significant incidents or concerns to the appropriate school staff.
4. Collaboration:
Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity in students' learning.
Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
5. Administrative Tasks:
Complete any necessary administrative tasks related to covering lessons.
Assist with record-keeping and reporting as needed.Associated Benefits:
