Nursery Practitioner

TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a private day Nursery based within Leeds LS8. The nursery provides a homely and caring environment for the children to settle into, with the staff working together to ensure that every child settles in well and is supported throughout all areas of their development. The current staff team work together to carefully organise the curriculum and activities, ensuring that each child’s interests and developmental needs are included within their planning.

The nursery are currently searching for an experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team. The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working within an Early Years setting such as this one, as well as having a good knowledge of current and up-to-date Safeguarding policies and procedures. The successful Nursery Practitioner will be passionate about working with young children and supporting them on their learning journey as they develop new skills and interests.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will:

Be able to adapt to new challenges and work well within a team
Have a good understanding of current Safeguarding policies and the Early Years Foundation Stage
Be enthusiastic and proactive in their approach to children’s learning and development.
