Learning Support Assistant
TimePlan Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join an inclusive primary school in Wandsworth. The primary school provides a supportive learning environment for all students. You will be joining a supportive team playing a crucial part in supporting a child with challenging behaviour, ensuring they have access to a positive and enriching educational experience.
Key Responsibilities
Providing one-on-one support to a child in Year 3 with challenging behaviour.
Supporting in implementing personalised plans alongside the SENCO
Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Employ effective behaviour management strategies to promote an engaged learning atmosphereExperience Required
Experience supporting special needs or challenging behaviour
Knowledge of the national curriculum
Understanding and interest of how children develop socially and mentally
