TimePlan Education is working in partnership with an astounding, diverse school based in Greenwich. The school is currently seeking an SEN teaching assistant with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.
Do you have prior experience of working with autistic children? Do you want to join a team of outstanding and motivated staff who work in an inclusive and supportive environment? This school is looking for an experienced special educational needs teaching assistant. You will be working as a teaching assistant for pupils who have been diagnosed with autism. Your key tasks will include ensuring the organisation of the class and delivering interventions and strategies suited to the needs of children with a diagnosis of ASD.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A passion for providing educational experiences that ensures all learners achieve.
Prior experience of working with autistic children.
Ability to work as a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Initiative and the ability to be reflective practitioners who can act upon the advice of colleagues to improve the educational outcomes for the children that you work with.What you will need to succeed:
Experience working within a primary classroom.
Good behaviour management and organisational skills.
You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through TimePlan Education. You would need to pay for this DBS yourself, you receive a refund back after 20 days working with us.
