Interim Head of Parking Services
Ideally the candidate will have managed at least one London borough as Head of Service (if not more) or a substantial out of London authority.
Will be expected to have substantial experience in all three majors workstreams
Bus Lanes And will understand the legislation and operational application back to front.
As a reorganisation is impending, experience in a full-service reorganisation would be beneficial including:
Making staff Redundancy (delivering the message personally)
Dealing with Trade UnionsThe finance are tough and the account comes under intense scrutiny - they will need substantially higher than average financial acumen and understand P&L accounting, Capital v Revenue , ROI and NPV calculations back to front.
There is no formal qualification academic but education to MBA level or similar would be helpful to demonstrate the critical thinking ability that is required
The role has overseen the implementation of key projects including:
parking price increases
rollout of CPZ programme
rollout of additional locations for Moving Traffic Contraventions
maximise the use of the new back office system, working with Imperial and the rollout of the PermitSmarti system.

This is an imperative role in providing expertise in Parking and Transformation to meet Corporate targets to assist AD Transport over a further 6 months to enable a transitional period assisting with future permanent vacancy in reorganising and Parking Procurement of services
