Contract Design Engineer - Gearbox Integration (Formula One)This is an opportunity to work for a leading motorsport team competing in Formula One, joining their Engine Systems as they gear up for the build of their future race cars! This is a 12-month contract!
In the Engine Systems team, you will be responsible for the design and development of both mechanical and composite components for the gearbox components for their new cars for both next season and beyond! With this being an even split across both composite and mechanical work they are looking for an engineer who is used to designing rapid prototype components and has a good understanding of stress analysis.
The team you will be joining has been undergoing large growth across the team, however their engine system team is still rather niche, therefore they are looking for support until the end of next season!
Experience needed:
Experienced Design Engineer within a high level environment
Proven experience within mechanical design
Detailed understanding of Catia CAD Systems.
