Housing Officer
A rare opportunity has arisen to join a small Supported Housing provider in Mid Devon on a temporary basis. This not-for-profit organisation provides for properties for residents with disabilities and complex needs.The position as a Housing Officer is on a temporary basis covering a small patch of homes across Devon, and offers remote working.
Responsibilities would include:
To carry out monthly visits to the properties to meet with customers
Managing tenancies, including drawing up tenancy agreements
Letting void properties
Ensuring that properties are safe and compliant
Liaising with stakeholders and resolving any anti social behaviour cases
The ideal person would have worked within a social housing setting previously and have excellent communication skills. The ability to work independently would be advantageous due to the nature of the position, and a driving license is essential.
