Young Person Substance Misuse Worker
Belmont Recruitment are looking to speak with experienced substance misuse workers preferably with experience working with young people in this role for a private charity located in the WALTHAMSTOW area.This role will have you working with young people from the ages 11-18 at a young person service, your caseload will consist of various issues that you will deal with such as rough sleepers/outreach, criminal justice and youth offending, substance misuse and complex needs. It is a community-based role so you could have the opportunity to carry out public speaking and workshops in various locations across the Walthamstow area, so being able to travel around through either public transport or car is essential, group work and 1-1 work is also involved.
