Pipefitter
Job Title: Pipefitter - Apartment Block ProjectLocation: Stoke-on-Trent, central location by Stoke-on-Trent Train Station
Our client is looking for experienced pipefitters to join their team for ongoing works on a central Stoke location apartment block for the duration of 2024. As a Pipefitter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful installation of wet systems, connections for bathroom pods, and kitchen first fix for the apartment block project. Your expertise in HDPE and electrofusion welding will be integral to achieving high-quality installations.
Key Responsibilities
HDPE Welding: Perform HDPE welding and jointing to ensure secure and leak-free connections.
Pipe Installation: Accurately install and fit pipes for wet systems, including hot and cold water supply, drainage, and heating systems.
Bathroom Pod Connections: Connect and integrate pipework to accommodate bathroom pods efficiently.
Kitchen First Fix: Prepare and install pipework for kitchen facilities that will be constructed onsite.
Electrofusion Welding: Utilize electrofusion welding techniques for specific connections and repairs.
Quality Control: Inspect, test, and troubleshoot installed systems to ensure they meet industry standards and project specifications.
Safety Compliance: Work in strict compliance with health and safety regulations, identifying and addressing potential hazards.
Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate effectively with other trades and team members to ensure a smooth and efficient project progression.
