Spinwell is recruiting for an Organisational Development Consultant for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT

The client is seeking additional strategic level capacity to work alongside our newly appointed Assistant Director of People Strategy and OD and the Director of People and Change, to help deliver some of the key programmes of work. These will focus initially on performance management, leadership development, career/talent development, wellbeing and inclusion and diversity. Other initiatives will include supporting the Assistant Director to upskill and develop our internal teams to ensure delivery of value adding services that meet our customers’ needs.

Both roles will lead workshops, facilitate key decisions with staff within the service and our customers, to support and guide the service through its transformation and improvement journey. The roles are a blend of stakeholder and project management, solution and process design and change management. You will also understand and be able to demonstrate how to make the transformation and improvement successful from an organisation perspective.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT

* Ideally CIPD Level 7 or similar

* Experience of leading HR and OD transformation in a large and complex organisation at a strategic level

* Exceptional stakeholder management skills

* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

* Proactive, independent and self-starter
