Fixed Term Contract until end of August 2024 Carshalton College are seeking a Team Leader – someone to take responsibility for the organisation of the Foundation Degree and BA (Hons) in Education & Learning. You will teach on, coordinate, and develop the Foundation Degree and BA (Hons) in Education & Learning as well as cross teach on Foundation Degree and BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Education. You will take responsibility for the organisation of the HE courses and take part in curriculum planning and product development. We’re looking for someone who is educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area and who has experience of teaching on Degree programmes in Education & Learning, both theoretical and practical sessions. You’ll hold a recognised teaching qualification and understand the Degree framework. We’d like you to have knowledge of current curriculum initiatives and the implications for learning strategies. You will understand a range of teaching strategies that meet individual learning needs as well as the differing educational and pastoral needs of students. The roles are to support the recruitment of new staff for an expanding contract that we have just been awarded.
