Skilled Careers are currently working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor who require an Resident Liaison Officer to come and join their busy team on a Contract Basis. This role will be based both in the office and on site around the North London area and you will be required on a 4 month basis until end of March 2024. As a Resident Liaison Officer you will be the key point of contact for residents that the main contractor are carrying out work for, delivering excellent customer care to ensure the program of works are met. A typical day will include formal and informal meetings with residents, issuing relevant documentation to residents, assisting with generating reports, creating and maintaining a property diary and ensuring residents are aware of aftercare process to name just a few elements of the role. Shift lengths vary between 4 - 8 hours per day. Please be aware that you will be walking more than driving and most Postpeople do over 20'000 steps a day. Royal Mail deliver parcels whatever the weather, so you will enjoy working outdoors and due to the amount of walking required you will need to be relatively fit and healthy. The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this role will be upbeat, self-motivated, and happy to work alone as well as part of a team. You will be helpful and approachable displaying a strong sense of community, as you get to know the people you meet on your round. About you  You will have experience as a General Foreman / Foreperson or Supervisor in the water industry or other heavy Civil Engineering projects, ideally from a tier 1 background with experience in tunnelling.
