RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PERSONNEL SECURITY TEAM MEMBER The Personnel Security Team Members are fully competent to provide a management support on the process of BPSS clearance and NSV clearance processes or on the production and issue all types of P4 pass. The Vetting process allows unescorted access to the Sellafield Sites which allows the Pass Office to produce unescorted passes, permitting various levels of access to the Sellafield Site whilst ensuring that all regulatory and business requirements and objectives are met. * Give direct support to the Sellafield Pass Office team leader or Vetting Team Leader. * Provision of a professional vetting process service in line with ONR Regulatory requirements or a professional pass issue service to both internal and external customers to the Sellafield Site. * Carry out all designated work packages ensuring they meet the required standards of safety, cost, time and quality. * Build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders in order to support the vetting or pass issue process, providing advice and guidance, taking corrective advice to address routine issues and escalating more complex problems to more senior colleagues to ensure timely and effective resolution. * Create NSVS accounts and monitor activity to ensure timely completion by the applicant, offering support and guidance where required to individuals, line managers and points of contact with customers and suppliers. * Takes accountability to sign off vetting packs on behalf of ONR to confirm that all relevant verifications checks have been carried out and the ONR vetting standards is met, providing justification for where vetting cannot be progressed * To contribute to the improvement of a safe environment/good housekeeping of the working area. * Complies with all legislative, regulatory and company policy, standards and procedures e.g. safety, quality, risk, security etc. * Ensure all KPI’s are provided to the Team Leader. * Report security incidents to the Team Leader. * Ensure that there is no unauthorised access to site. * Ensure all regulatory and company polices are met. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE PERSONNEL SECURITY TEAM MEMBER • Demonstrable communication and inter-personal skills • Demonstrable clerical and administrative skills • Evidence of high integrity and discretion • Demonstrable computer literacy • Evidence of effective team working capability • Ability to attain DV or SC clearance. Undertaking safety hazard analysis, using recognised tools and techniques, such as PHI, FMECA, HAZOP, FTA, etc. The generation, update and maintenance of hazard databases, as required by each contract (such as eCassandra). · Preparation of Safety Documentation such as :- System Safety Product Plan (SSPP). Perform any related tasks for which their manager perceives that he/she has the necessary skills and/or competence.
