TP137 PC M&E Site Manager - HV Substation Do you have prior HV substation experience in the UK is essential? The Site Manager will focus on the M&E construction, installation & commissioning phases. They will manage/supervise the installation and assembling of HV equipment, high voltage cables, switchgear - transformers, circuit breakers and all associated AIS or GIS components. Preference will be given to candidates that have strong electrical AND mechanical experience, with experience working on HV substations. Duties: To act as the M&E Site Manager for new & extension energy facility projects in the UK Day-to-day management of site personnel, subcontractors, and general workers on site Ensure site management procedures and policies are being always followed by site personnel. Have a working knowledge of construction health, safety and environmental legislation. Liaison with the client HSE advisors and support teams Liaison with individuals from the site management, engineering, and commissioning teams Monitoring and logging of the Contractor's progress and performance on site supporting the Senior Site Manager / Project Manager Requirements: Have comprehensive knowledge of UK substation electrical equipment. The Mechanical Technician will support the Production units by utilising specialist knowledge and skills to undertake scheduled maintenance as well as responding to breakdowns during normal working hours and out of hours as part of an on call rota.
