Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working alongside a fantastic business in the Kirby-in-Ashfield area as they look to recruit a Finance Assistant on a full time basis to cover a period of maternity leave however with the growth of the company there is definite potential for the role to go permanent.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily Cash and Bank Reconciliation including transactional posting and administration
Inter-company account reconciliation
Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Prepare for annual external Audit and answering Auditor queries in a timely manner
Supporting the team with improving finance reports and processes
Weekly payroll and credit card expense analysis
Head office cost control analysis
Ad-hoc duties assisting finance team as required
Any other tasks that you may reasonably be required to undertake
Person Specification:
Currently Studying/Looking to Study AAT
GCSE English Language and Maths (or equivalent) at a minimum of grade 5
Previous experience in a financial role/study preferred
Confident in using Excel
Confident in building strong relationships
A professional approach, good communication skills and being highly motivated, ambitious and keen to learn
An enthusiasm for business and finance
Good interpersonal and organisational skills
Diligent and comfortable and experienced in working to meet deadlines
