Simply Education continues to work in partnership with multiple SEND Schools across the Kent area. We are looking for Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants to join a reputable SEMH school in Ramsgate, starting in September. These specific roles can even turn into permanent work. We are looking for people that are passionate and determined to make a difference in our young people’s lives.
This school is a small, independent institution dedicated to catering to the unique needs of children with SEMH. With a total of only 44 pupils and small class sizes, we offer a nurturing and supportive learning environment where every child is valued and encouraged to thrive. We pride ourselves on keeping up to date with the current curriculum, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education that meets their individual needs.
Your dedicated consultant Nicole will work on an individual basis to suit your needs and requirements, whether you are looking to work on a part-time or full-time basis. Whatever your arising needs, we ensure that we can find you your suitable role.
You may be required to work on a 1:1 basis, or within a small class of around 7 pupils with a variety of additional needs including ADHD, SEMH & Autism. We can provide full FREE teaching assistant course training & SEND Specific CPD to ensure you have all the tools to be successful in your new role, so please don’t be concerned if you don’t have any experience, you just need to have the right personality and passion to work with SEN students. Simply Education has a range of specific tailored courses which range from 1 -2 days depending on the course you attend.
We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:
• Has recent experience working with children, inside or outside of a classroom environment (SEND experience is beneficial, but not essential).
• Can promote being a positive role model for our students.
• Can quickly build rapport with colleagues and students.
•Can help teachers prepare lesson materials.
• Work with all class pupils with special educational needs or disabilities and record progress they make.
