As a Health and Social Care Teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering engaging virtual teaching sessions to our students. Responsibilities:
* Lead dynamic virtual teaching sessions covering a range of health and social care topics, including medication handling, dementia awareness, and social care practices.
* Tailor teaching materials to meet the diverse needs of our students, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
* Provide valuable feedback and guidance to students, supporting their academic progression and success.
* Nurture a collaborative and interactive learning atmosphere conducive to student achievement.
* Stay abreast of industry advancements and best practices in healthcare education, continuously enhancing teaching strategies.
* Collaborate with colleagues to elevate the quality of our educational offerings.
Essential Criteria:
* Hold a recognized teaching qualification such as PTTLS or DTTLS.
* DBS disclosure is mandatory for this role.
* Possess an engaging personality with exceptional interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in utilising online learning platforms and educational technology.
* Demonstrate a minimum of 6 months of teaching experience.
* Display creativity and a proactive approach to learning.
* Exhibit a passion for continuous learning and a dedication to student welfare.
Desirable Criteria:
* Previous experience teaching healthcare subjects to adult learners, particularly in an online capacity.
* Hold an Assessor qualification A1 or equivalent.
* Ability to align schemes of work and lesson plans with vocational skills curriculum.
* Experience in designing and implementing tracking systems.
