Pay: MPS/UPS Negotiable depending on experience

Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher ready for your next challenge?

A thriving and well-regarded primary school in South Manchester is looking to appoint a confident and committed KS2 Teacher to join their team.

The school is particularly keen to hear from teachers with Year 6 experience or a strong understanding of SATS preparation and delivery.

The role offers the chance to work in a forward-thinking environment where staff development and pupil progress are at the heart of everything they do. You will be joining a welcoming and inclusive school with a leadership team who are proactive and supportive.

• A qualified Primary Teacher (QTS essential) with recent experience in Key Stage 2 (desirable)

• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum, particularly in Upper KS2

• Experience in preparing pupils for end-of-KS2 assessments (SATs) is highly desirable

• Confident classroom management with the ability to maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour

• A reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous improvement and collaborative working

• Well-resourced KS2 department with clear schemes of work in place

• Pupils are well-behaved, respectful and eager to learn

• SLT are visible and hands-on in their support of staff and pupils

• Strong focus on pupil wellbeing, academic achievement, and enrichment

• A diverse school community that celebrates inclusion and individuality
