essential Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for Home Delivery Drivers in Glasgow to work with our client, who is one of the leading UK Logistics companies, working on behalf of a well known DIY and home & garden retailer.

Home Delivery Driver - The role & responsibilities:
- Driving a Van
- Working in a 2 Person Crew
- Delivering products to Customer Homes
- Carrying items in to the required rooms (heavy lifting required)
- Ensuring PoD paperwork is completed properly
- Vehicle checks and industry standard paperwork completion
This is a Customer facing role, so we are looking for people with a friendly, helpful demeanor who are well presented and have a good grasp of the English language.
Working Hours: Working days are Tuesday to Saturday and you must be able to complete shifts on these days.
About you: You will have your Van Driver Driving Licence and at least 2 years experience in commercial driving. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept
DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
