Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Tool Designer - Detail Parts to add to their talented, hardworking team in Warton on an initial 12 months contract. 35.00 PAYE inside IR35

The Role

Conducting tool designs from concept design phase through to manufacture in support of manufacturing demonstration technology development programmes.
Preparation of supporting tooling documentation including risk assessments, tooling specifications, design review documentation, BoM's and UKCA marking documentation where required.
You'll have:
Proven experience of detail tool design processes - preferably withing the air sector.
Proficient in the use of CATIA V5
Thorough understanding of interpreting and applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
Knowledge and understanding of/ability to apply external and internal company standards that govern tooling activities
