SEND Teaching Assistant – Internal Provision

Location: Bilston, WV14, West Midlands

Full-Time | ASAP Start | Until End of Academic Year

Pay: £90-£110 per day

Smile Education is recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support an internal provision base in a supportive and well-led school.

This is a long-term role ideal for someone experienced with SEND and SEMH needs, looking to make an immediate impact.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils with SEND in a dedicated provision base

Working closely with the HLTA

Delivering 1:1 and small group support

Managing behaviour and supporting SEMH needs

Creating a safe, structured, and engaging environmentWhat we’re looking for:

- Experience supporting SEND pupils (essential)

- Strong behaviour management skills

- Confident supporting SEMH / complex needs

Qualifications required:

Level 3 Early Years Educator (EYE)

Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)

Level 3 NVQ in Children’s Care, Learning and Development (CCLD)

Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator)

Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Children’s Play, Learning and Development

Level 3 T Level in Education and Early Years (with placement completed)

Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning

Level 2 or 3 Specialist Supporting Teaching & Learning

Level 2 or 3 Children and Young Persons Workforce
