ROLE: Apprentice Extrusion Technician

HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday (Apply online only), Friday (Apply online only) - Fixed term for 18 Months leading to a permanent role.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Extrusion Technician, supporting our extrusion processes and production operations.

As part of our skilled Manufacturing team, you'll play a key role in supporting extrusion activities, tooling setup and quality control. This role is ideal for someone early in their engineering career or looking to progress as a Technician.

WHAT OUR APPRENTICE EXTRUSION TECHNICIANS DO:

Work towards a Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Operations

Learn and support extrusion processes, including tooling setup and adjustments

Develop the ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Carry out basic product inspection and quality checks

Planning and organising tasks with guidance from experienced team members

Apply a logical, methodical approach to problems and process improvements

Maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency and attention to detail

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR EXTRUSION TECHNICIANS DO:

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Good attention to detail and interest in quality standards

Logical problem-solving skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

GCSE English at grade 4 (C) or above - desirable but not essential
