TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ SEND school based in Tonbridge, supporting students with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD and SEMH. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for secondary aged pupils, with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing, independence and positive outcomes for every learner.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant on a short-term basis until July, with an immediate start available. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be supporting secondary aged students both inside and outside of the classroom, helping to engage learners, manage behaviours positively and encourage academic and personal development throughout the school day.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Previous experience working within SEND settings

• Experience supporting students with ASD, ADHD and SEMH

• Confidence supporting secondary aged pupils

• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach

• Strong communication and relationship building skills

• A bachelor degree is desirable but not essential

**You must be able to drive due to the location of this school**
