A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrician to join a well-established contractor carrying out EICR testing across commercial properties in Manchester, with a strong focus on hospital environments. This is a temporary position offering long-term work, a company van and fuel card, and consistent hours.
The successful Electrician will be responsible for carrying out electrical inspections, testing and reporting within live commercial environments, ensuring all installations remain compliant and safe.

Responsibilities of the Electrician:
  • Carry out EICR testing across commercial buildings, including hospitals
  • Complete detailed inspection and testing reports in line with current regulations
  • Identify electrical faults and recommend remedial works where required
  • Ensure all testing and certification is completed accurately
  • Work safely within live commercial environments with minimal disruption
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety procedures at all times
  • Liaise professionally with site staff and management teams
  • Manage workloads effectively across multiple sites
Requirements for the Electrician:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • 18th Edition qualification
  • 2391 Testing and Inspection qualification
  • Previous experience carrying out commercial EICRs
  • Experience working within hospitals or similar live environments is beneficial
  • Strong knowledge of current electrical regulations
  • Full UK driving licence
