We are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist education provision in Wolverhampton for a passionate and resilient Teacher to support students with SEMH, SEN, and additional learning needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a strong practitioner looking to make a genuine impact within an alternative education setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting student progress, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils can thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs

* Support students with SEMH/SEN and barriers to learning

* Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly

* Promote positive behaviour and maintain effective classroom management

* Contribute to pastoral support and student wellbeing

* Work collaboratively with support staff, parents, and external professionals

* Encourage student engagement, confidence, and personal development

* Maintain safeguarding and compliance procedures at all times

We are looking for candidates who:

* Hold QTS/QTLS or are willing to work towards it

* Have experience working within SEN, SEMH, alternative provision, or secondary education settings

* Can build positive relationships and effectively engage young people

* Have strong behaviour management and communication skills

* Are committed to inclusion, safeguarding, and high educational standards

* Remain calm, adaptable, and resilient in challenging situations
