Job Description

The successful contractor/operative will inspect approximately 6,000 internal-access windows throughout the hospital estate and undertake repairs where required.

The primary scope of works includes:

Inspecting opening function of windows

Identifying windows that do not open to the required extent

Repairing defective window closers

Replacing faulty cavity closers where necessary

Ensuring windows operate safely and correctly following repair

Recording completed works and reporting any additional defects Site Details

Large hospital / healthcare environment

All windows accessible from indoors

No external access equipment required

Work must be carried out safely and with consideration to clinical environments and hospital operations Requirements

Applicants should have:

Previous experience repairing commercial or healthcare windows

Experience with window restrictors, closers, and cavity closers

Good fault-finding and repair skills

Ability to work independently across a live site

Awareness of health & safety procedures within occupied buildings Contract Details

Estimated duration: Approximately 6 months

Rate: Around £180 per day

Full-time ongoing work available

Immediate / flexible start available Preferred

DBS check (preferred but not essential)
