Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Basingstoke is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN TA to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive school environment where every pupil is encouraged to succeed.

The Role

As an SEN TA, you will work closely with class teachers and support staff to provide tailored assistance for pupils with Special Educational Needs. The SEN TA will help create a positive and engaging classroom environment where children feel confident, supported, and motivated to learn.

Key duties include:

• Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
• Assisting with personalised learning activities
• Adapting classroom resources to meet individual learning needs
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development
• Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and outside professionals

About You

A successful SEN TA will be patient, caring, and proactive, with a genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for this role.
