Aspire people is seeking a KS3-4 Science Teacher for a well-established and highly-regarded special education school in NG11.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and experienced across multiple Key Stages as well as have a knowledge of trauma informed approach, good understanding of ASD and show strong resilience. Though you will be teaching small size classes in KS3-4, some of the students are performing on a much lower level. There are also two teaching assistants in the class to help you teach 11-14 yo. pupils.

Position Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Science Teacher.
This long term position (starting September 2026) is an exciting opportunity to be part of our vibrant school community and make a positive impact on the development and education of our young learners.

Pay: 190 /day to start with or 40K/year when you move from agency to school employee

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality intervention teaching and support SEN students.
Planning and marking is required
Follow the school's curriculum and guidelines to ensure academic progress.
Deliver engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' academic and personal growth.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching in various Key Stages (Due to varied classes).
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and methods.

Duration: Long term with September start.
