Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - South Birmingham

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary setting in South Birmingham. This role is for the full academic year.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs (including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties)

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions

Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will:

Have experience working with children with SEN (school-based or similar setting)

Be patient, resilient, and adaptable

Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills

Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
