SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School UES1

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Redhill is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children who have additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum, develop confidence and achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups across the primary age range.

We are looking for someone who is patient, adaptable and passionate about making a positive difference in children’s lives.

The successful candidate will:

Have experience working with children with SEND, ideally within a primary school setting

Be nurturing, calm and resilient

Support pupils with learning, communication and social development

*

Work effectively alongside teachers, SENCOs and external professionals

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff

Have a good understanding of safeguarding and inclusion
