Reeson Education are recruiting a skilled Science Teacher for a well-established secondary school in Sheffield (S9). This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who can deliver engaging and practical Science lessons while maintaining strong classroom management and promoting academic achievement.

About the Science Teacher Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver structured and stimulating lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable). You will play a key role in developing pupils' scientific understanding, practical investigation skills, and analytical thinking across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Key Responsibilities as Science Teacher:
Curriculum Delivery: Deliver high-quality Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum and examination requirements.
Practical Application: Plan and supervise safe and effective practical experiments that enhance pupils' scientific knowledge and engagement.
Classroom Management: Maintain clear routines, expectations, and a focused learning environment.
Progress Monitoring: Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to ensure strong academic outcomes.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, senior leaders, and parents to support pupil achievement.

To succeed as a Science Teacher, you will need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics (specialism desirable).
Confident classroom presence with effective behaviour management skills.
An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply through Reeson Education.
