School IT Technician

💰 £15 – £17 per hour

Madison Reign is currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive IT Technician to join a secondary school based in Barking & Dagenham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional looking to work within education, supporting staff and students with day-to-day technical support across the school.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring the smooth running of classroom and office technology.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across the school

✔ Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues

✔ Support classroom technology including interactive boards and projectors

✔ Maintain laptops, desktops and printers

✔ Support Office 365, Windows and Active Directory systems

✔ Set up and configure new devices and user accounts

✔ Respond quickly to IT support requests from staff and students

✔ Assist with network maintenance and system updates

✔ Ensure safeguarding and data protection procedures are followed

Requirements:

✔ Previous experience as an IT Technician or IT Support Engineer

✔ Strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365 and hardware troubleshooting

✔ Experience working within a school environment desirable

✔ Good communication and problem-solving skills

✔ Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service REQUIRED
