Job Title: Scrum Master (Contract)
Location: Fully Remote  
Duration: 6 months initially  
Rate: Max £500 per day
IR35: Outside 

Your mission
1. Stabilise delivery cadence so sprints run predictably and transparently
2. Remove blockers fast by driving ownership and decision-making
3. Improve flow and quality using practical metrics and continuous improvement
4. Strengthen team ways of working without “process for process’ sake”

What you’ll be doing day-to-day
1. Facilitate ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, refinement, review, retro)
2. Coach team and stakeholders on pragmatic agile behaviours
3. Track impediments/dependencies and drive resolution to closure
4. Support backlog readiness with PO and ensure clear acceptance criteria
5. Use delivery data (cycle time, throughput, predictability) to guide improvements

What you must have
1. Proven Scrum Master delivery experience in a product/engineering context
2. Confident facilitation with strong stakeholder management
3. Jira or Azure DevOps experience

Nice to have
• SAFe / scaled agile exposure
• Engineering background (DevOps/platform/software)
