The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide focused 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with ASD, helping them remain engaged, motivated, and confident throughout the school day. You will help deliver personalised strategies that support both the pupil's academic progress and emotional wellbeing. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable and committed to making a positive difference to children with SEN. Duties will include supporting classroom learning, encourage positive behaviour, and promoting independence and social interaction. Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN, especially ASD is essential.
