Science Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, and highly skilled Science Teacher to deliver an engaging curriculum across various science subjects (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics) up to GCSE level. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching, a commitment to student success, and a dedication to creating an inspiring and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver high-quality, interactive science lessons that align with the curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students.

* Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.

* Use a variety of teaching strategies and technology to enhance student engagement and understanding.

* Develop and assess lesson plans, homework assignments, and exams that challenge students and foster academic growth.

* Motivate students to think critically and apply scientific concepts to real-world situations.

* Participate in school-wide activities, professional development, and collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices.

* Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff to provide feedback on academic progress and behavior.

* Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and assessments.

Qualifications:

* A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Science, Education, or a related field.

* Valid teaching certification (or eligibility) in Science.

* Proven experience in teaching science in a secondary school..

* Strong understanding of science concepts and an ability to explain them in an accessible, engaging manner.

* Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.

* Passion for fostering scientific curiosity and a growth mindset in students.

* Ability to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for students of all backgrounds.
