Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm. Part time hours considered

Polytec are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Technician to join our central Cambridge based client. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of cable ends and the soldering of fine wires onto very small PCBs. This is a hands-on role requiring precision and steady manual dexterity. You will also complete final product assembly.

Responsibilities

Prepare cable ends to specification
Solder small-gauge wires onto miniature PCB components
Follow detailed instructions and quality standards
Maintain accuracy and consistency in all assembly tasks
Keep a clean and organised work area

Good hand-eye coordination and steady hands
Strong attention to detail
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to follow technical instructions
No specific soldering or electronics experience required - full training will be provided
