Learning Support Assistant - Buckingham, Buckinghamshire

Learning support opportunity in Buckingham, assisting students with additional needs in a welcoming and inclusive school setting.

Tradewind Recruitment are partnering with a highly supportive educational setting in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant.

Learning Support Assistant

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting students in lessons on a one-to-one or small group basis
• Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and learning activities
• Encouraging confidence, independence and positive engagement
• Supporting pupils with additional educational needs where required
• Promoting safeguarding and student wellbeing at all times

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience working with children or young people
• A patient, empathetic and adaptable approach
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A passion for supporting educational progress
• An Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to undertake one
