HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) - Acton | September Start | Class Teaching Opportunity

A friendly and welcoming primary school in Acton is seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified HLTA looking for a varied role that combines classroom support with the opportunity to take on whole-class teaching responsibilities.

The successful candidate will play a key role across the school, delivering planned lessons in the teacher's absence, supporting pupil progress and contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment.

The Role:

Full-time HLTA position

September start

Long-term opportunity with potential for a permanent role

Deliver whole-class teaching across different year groups when required

Support teaching and learning across the school

Lead small group interventions and targeted support sessions

Work closely with teachers and senior leaders to raise pupil attainment

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environmentThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

HLTA qualification - essential

Previous experience working within UK primary schools

Confidence delivering lessons and leading whole-class teaching

Strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum

Excellent behaviour management skills

A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach

Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staffThe School Offers:
