Role: Health & Safety Advisor / HSE Advisor
Location: Cheshire
Type: Freelance Contract
Rate: £400/day Outside IR35

Are you a hands-on Health & Safety Advisor with highways experience who actually enjoys being out on site and making a difference?
A growing construction and infrastructure business is expanding its Health & Safety team due to a major increase in high-value projects across the North West, meaning they need experienced people who can hit the ground running.
This is an opportunity for a practical, proactive H&S Advisor who enjoys inspections, engaging with site teams, reviewing risk assessments, and being visible on live projects rather than sitting behind a desk.

They are specifically looking for someone who:
Has Highways or Civil Engineering experience
Is comfortable carrying out site inspections and audits
Can review and challenge RAMS and risk assessments
Takes a practical approach to Health & Safety
Builds strong relationships on site

What They're Looking For
Essential:
Experience in construction or highways Health & Safety
Strong site presence and communication skills
Ability to conduct inspections and support operational teams
NEBOSH qualification
Highly Desirable:
NEBOSH General Certificate
NEBOSH Construction Certificate
Previous highways or major infrastructure project experience
