We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join the school from September, teaching a Year 6 class.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and committed teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality learning and supporting pupils through an important stage of their primary education. For the right candidate, this role also has the potential to be extended to include additional responsibilities such as Subject Leader or Phase Leader.

The ideal KS2 Teacher will be able to:

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons for a Year 6 class

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment expectations

• Prepare pupils effectively for their next stage of education

• Set high expectations for learning, behaviour and pupil progress

• Use assessment effectively to identify gaps, support progress and inform planning

• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

• Build strong professional relationships with pupils, staff, parents and carers

• Work collaboratively with the wider KS2 team and school leadership

• Contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school

• Show the potential to take on additional responsibility as a Subject Leader or Phase Leader
